MAS - EXPO LE CORBUSIER

MAS - EXPO LE CORBUSIER

The MAS in Antwerp has recently added an intriguing performance on the 3rd floor. The exhibition is about the life work, Linkeroever & Chandigarh, by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier.

During the performance you will learn more about what Le Corbusier's vision was on the left bank of the city of Antwerp. Le Corbusier dreamed of a very orderly city with many green open spaces. To achieve this, Le Corbusier participated in a competition of the city of Antwerp in 1933. He worked on his plans for years, but a winner was never chosen. He later drew a new city in India, Chandigarh. Certain parts of this city now belong to the UNESCO World Heritage.

If you want to find out more, it is definitely worth taking a look at the MAS. There you can learn more about the life of the architect Le Corbusier and you can also see the original plan for the left bank.

To be able to live up to the exhibition, a great deal of audiovisual equipment was needed, such as projectors, projection screens and regular screens.
